Operations Manager:  This position manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

  • Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
  • Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.
  • Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered. Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
  • Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and the Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

Accounting Manager: Supervise department affairs and operations to achieve to greatest level of efficiency by providing effective communication, time management, leadership, and accuracy. In addition, provide support to CEO in all department matters to improve overall corporate profits, procedures, financial transactions and records, with cost efficiency being a priority.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Collect, calculate, and complete timecards and time sheets and submit as required
  • Prepare automated payroll checks and disperse accordingly
  • Maintain accurate, current payroll records
  • Prepare, collect, process, and maintain required payroll records
  • Examine, prepare, track, computer entry, and prompt check generation for all accts payable
  • Complete tasks as defined daily in order of priority from CEO
  • Research, monitor, and track expenses and cash flow. Note changes, and suggest saving measures by seeking out, continuously, best prices on all payables to ensure best cost control measures are being utilized. Ex: utility charges, interest rates, etc.
  • Maintain, and review frequently all financial records to ensure all are up-to-date and reflect accuracy. Prepare records for audits. Work with corporate accountant and attorney.
  • Prepare and generate timely, accurate, professional quarterly tax returns and financial reports as needed for the CEO and corporate accountant and required by government agencies
  • Assist with generating and dispersing computerized billing statements for our customers
  • Assist with answering phones as needed. Maintain hardcopy and computer files.
  • Create professional correspondence as required to support department operations
    Track, update, and maintain all company insurance policies including workers, medical, and corporate liability

Experience Level

College degree or 10+ years experience in a financial accounting environment. Knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Excel, cost control, accounting & bookkeeping principles essential.

Administrative Assistant:  This position will be a focal point of the office and will assist the Accounting Manager, the Director of Business Operations and the CEO in their respective duties by performing the following duties. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • General clerical assistance.
  • Prepare sales presentations, special reports, memoranda, compose letters and routine correspondence, and researching information.
  • Responsible for reception and telephone duties, including signing for front office packages.
  • May be required to make meeting and travel arrangements.
  • Responsible for sorting and distributing mail.
  • Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
  • Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases.
  • Prepares invoices, checks, account statements, reports and other records and reviews them for accuracy.
  • Reconciles bank statements.
  • Enters timecards data into on line system.
  • Codes data for input to financial systems according to company’s procedures.
    or equivalent is a plus.
  • 3-4 years of related experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in MS word, Excel, QuickBooks and the Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
  • Must have good command of the English language, oral and written.

Program Manager: Supervises shop employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Project Manager: Responsible for the coordination and completion of production projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

  • Works with the production personnel and design to develop procedures, methods and tooling in order to produce high-quality State of the Art composite parts
  • Must understand composite fundamentals, finishing techniques, fiberglass fabrication, composite processes, shop mathematics, and interpretation of engineering documents and blueprints
  • Strong management skills and leadership are necessary for this position in order to direct production personnel in relation to schedule, time estimates and job priorities
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help maintain internal Quality System.
  • Administrative operation of the Corrective Action System.
  • Analysis of customer and regulatory requirements to assess their effect on the internal Quality System.
  • Support of customer and agency audits.
  • Qualification support of personnel performing special processes.
  • Quality Assurance record retention.

Required Experience:

  • Quality related experience minimum of 5 years.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Quality System requirements.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000/AS9100 requirements with some knowledge of aerospace requirements.

Experience Required/Desired:

  • 5+ years of hands-on composite fabrication, prototyping and manufacturing of fiber-reinforced plastic parts.
  • Familiar with hand lay-up of epoxy, polyester, vinylester resins, Prepreg processes, vacuum bag, room and oven temperature cures, e-glass, carbon fiber, Aramid, and mat.
  • Should know basics of pattern making, tool/mold making and parts fabrication and possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced work environment.

Candidate should have strong organizational, leadership and communication skills along with the ability to write clearly and organize complex information. Good understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes and tool design, good written and verbal communication skills, proficient computer skills to support technical and management tasks.

  • 1-2 years working experience and the desire to learn a trade in composite fabrication, prototyping and manufacturing of fiber-reinforced plastic parts.
  • Will train the right person to be familiar with hand lay-up of epoxy, polyester, vinylester resins, Prepreg processes, vacuum bag, room and oven temperature cures, e-glass, carbon fiber, Aramid, and mat.

Candidate should have basic mechanical abilities, knowledge and the desire to learn. Also must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced work environment.
